Of an intense red, its characteristic leaves that appear to all of us like flowers, have made it the star and icon of the Christmas period.

Commonly known as "Christmas Star", or Poinsettia, its real name is Euphorbia Pulcherrima and in nature it is found in various colors (peach, pink, yellow, white) and it can be kept, cultivated and made to bloom, with the right care, all year round!

To achieve its intense red color, in winter temperatures it should be kept indoors and in a very bright place.
Avoid direct light and heat sources, in the summer months it can be kept outside.

At the bottom its older leaves normally fall or turn yellow, don't worry, it's a normal process, continue to care for it and water it.

Treatment

Difficulty: Easy
Light: Lots of light / Indirect light
Humidity: High
Temperature: 12 - 20 ºC
Watering: once every 7 days immerse the sphere in water for 7 minutes, gently squeeze the moss avoiding water stagnation.
Reduce to 5 minutes in winter by increasing the number of days between waterings.
