As fascinating as its history, this plant takes its name from the eponymous admiral De Bouganville who imported it to Europe from its native Brazil.

The Bougainvillea Bonsai kokedama is a plant with broad leaves and a lush flowering that persists throughout the summer season.
In nature it is a climbing plant and can reach significant dimensions.

It does not require special attention in the kokedama bonsai version and is easy to manage as it is a very resistant plant.
Given its origins, it loves warm places, but in the summer months it is best to protect it from intense sun and in the winter months avoid frost.

Watering: once every 10 days immerse the sphere in water for 7 minutes, gently squeeze the moss avoiding water stagnation.
Reduce to 5 minutes in winter by increasing the number of days between waterings.
